The AutoLynq blog exists for the angles that don’t fit neatly into an evergreen guide: a rate trend worth explaining the same year it happens, a state-specific quirk worth calling out on its own, or a question that comes up often enough to deserve its own dedicated post. Where our guides and topic hubs cover a subject broadly and get revisited as facts change, blog posts tend to zoom in on one specific situation, like why a renewal jumped, what a single ticket does to a premium, or which dealership add-ons are never worth the money.
Posts currently fall into a few recurring categories: car insurance topics like renewal pricing, tickets, and claims; car buying topics like financing and dealership add-ons; and general guides-style explainers on things like credit-based insurance scores and what to do after an accident. As the AutoLynq blog grows, expect more posts touching ownership costs and electric vehicles as well.
How often new posts go up
There’s no fixed publishing schedule here. New posts get added regularly, and priority generally goes to whatever’s changing fastest, a shift in insurance pricing trends, a new EV incentive, a change worth flagging before it affects your renewal or your next purchase, rather than sticking to a rigid calendar. If a topic in one of our guides needs a timely update or a deeper dive than the guide format allows, a blog post is often where that expanded version shows up first, with a link back added to the relevant guide once it’s live.
Every post on the AutoLynq blog goes through the same editorial standard as our main guides: a claim needs a source you could check yourself, not just a plausible-sounding number. Where a post cites a rating factor, a legal right, or a regulatory rule, we link back to the relevant guide or the original source rather than asking you to take our word for it. If a rule or a number changes after a post goes live, we come back and update the post rather than leaving outdated information sitting online. That’s the same standard our full guides are held to, applied to shorter, timelier posts.
If you found this site through a blog post and want the fuller picture on a topic, our hub pages are usually the better next stop: they take a broader view and get revisited on an ongoing basis, while a blog post tends to answer one narrower question well. Bookmarking a hub page, rather than a single post, is often the more durable way to keep coming back to a topic as it evolves.
